Reigning Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) champions Tusker FC ascended to third on the log with wingback Daniel Sakari opening up on the reason for their resurgence.

Sakari who has watched the Brewers from the sidelines in recent games owing to his ankle injury noted that the club needed confidence that they have now acquired.
“I think all that we needed was the confidence that comes with wins and I think now we have it, we now have to focus on consistency. We are now setting our sights on the next game against Police then against Kariobangi Sharks which will help us climb up the log,” said Sakari.
The former Kakamega Homeboyz defender is set to return to action in the next clash against Kenya Police FC after recovering from his ankle injury sustained in the first leg clash against Ulinzi Stars.
