Ronaldinho claims he won't even watch his country's games at the upcoming Copa America as he's so disappointed with the current team

Brazil have had many sensational players over the years and decades, but very few were magicians like Ronaldinho. The 44-year-old former Barcelona star led the Selecao to a 2002 FIFA World Cup title and was the leading man in the national side for years.

Therefore, his words mean a lot and when you hear him saying the current team is shameful, it raises more than a few eyebrows.

Ronaldinho announced that he will not watch his country's matches in the upcoming 2024 Copa America.

"I will not follow any Brazilian match or celebrate any victory."

He also added:

"It is a sad moment for those who love Brazilian football. It is really difficult to have the energy and spirit to watch the national team's matches anymore."

The once-remarkable attacking midfielder noticed that "this team is one of the worst in recent years"...

"There are no respectable leaders in it, only a handful of mediocre players, who are the majority. I have never seen a situation like this in my life. They lack the love for the Brazilian shirt and lack the quality of football. Our performance was the worst I have seen. It is a shame what is really happening."
