Simeone: We would have won 6-4 if we were more aggressive

Impressions of the coaches of the two teams after the clash in Dortmund

Diego Simeone was quite disappointed after Borussia Dortmund defeated and eliminated Atletico Madrid in the quarter-finals of the Champions League, with a total score of 4-5.

Cholo believes that the key was that his team was not aggressive enough at Westfalen Stadium and that they missed the opportunity to achieve a better result in the first match.

Last night, Borussia won 4-2 in an exciting match.

"I think that in the two games they had better chances than us. In the first match, the advantage could have been greater in our favor. In the second half of the last night's match, the team started very well with Angel Correa scoring, which was a beautiful goal. They did not have such situations, so the goals speak for themselves. We weren't aggressive enough, if we were we would have won 6-4," said Simeone.

Edin Terzić had many more reasons to be happy.

"I am extremely happy, for the team and the club. At this level, small details are decisive. And we had those little details on our side in this clash. We managed to score five goals in two matches against such a quality team as Atletico Madrid."

Paris Saint-Germain is an old acquaintance and opponent from the group stage.

"We have already played against PSG twice. We didn't like the first game in Paris at all. The second match in Dortmund was quite different. We are now a much better team than we were in September, even in December," said Terzić.
