Tusker FC forward Eric Kapaito has revealed what the team has to do in order to end their Mozzart Bet Cup drought.

The Brewers will face Police FC in the 2026 Mozzart Bet Cup final on Sunday 14 June at the Kwale Stadium in what promises to be a high octane clash.Tusker booked a place in the final following their penalty shootout triumph over KCB FC in the Semi final while Police qualified via the same route at the expense of Bandari.
Speaking at the sidelines of the team's final training session on Saturday 13 June at the match venue, the FKFPL 2018 Most Valuable Player (MVP) disclosed what it will take for them to emerge victorious.
“To lift the trophy, we will have to practice teamwork, have good concentration, work hard as a team and have the hunger. We hope that every player will play their role well,” said Kapaito.
The Harambee Stars forward is also banking on the hunger originating from their poor season in the league that saw them finish 9th on the league table.
“We have not had a good season as a team and this Mozzart Bet Cup provides us with an opportunity to redeem ourselves and qualify to the CAF CC which comes with goodies,” he added.
The former Kariobangi Sharks man also admitted to pressure as one of the senior players ahead of the highly anticipated clash.“The pressure is a good one and we are using it well to propel us forward. It is our job and every player in camp understands it.”
Despite the two teams forced to travel over 400km to Kwale, Kapaito insists the long journey will not have an effect on the match.
“The distance is not a matter, we have been traveling for all games. We are enjoying the moment and just to reflect on our journey so far,” he concluded.
The winner of the match will home Ksh 3 million richer and a chance to qualify to the CAF Confederation Cup (CAF CC) while the runners up will pocket Ksh 2 million.
