STARS ABROAD: Juma opens goal account in Lebanon as Harambee Stars trio impress in Europe

Harambee Stars striker Masoud Juma came off the bench to score his maiden goal for his new club, Nejmeh, in a Lebanese Premier League match against Safa played on Sunday.
His strike proved decisive as it secured a 1-0 victory for the club.

Juma recently completed his move to Nejmeh from Migori Youth FC after featuring in CHAN 2024.
The forward did not make a single appearance for the National Super League before moving to Lebanon.
He joined the Lebanese outfit alongside his Harambee Stars teammate Teddy Akumu.
Against Safa, Akumu started in midfield and played the entire match.
Juma was introduced in the second half for Khalil Yadr and needed only a few minutes to make an impact.
In the 85th minute, he latched onto a long ball from midfield, raced towards the goal, and calmly slotted past the goalkeeper for the winner.
Nejmeh are third on the table, having won two of their opening matches of the season.

The visitors went ahead in the 15th minute through Gustav Olsted Marcussen before Viborg equalised in the 21st minute through Frederik Tim.
Yonis Njoh then netted the winner a minute from time to secure three valuable points. Viborg are sixth on the log with 12 points from 10 matches.
In Norway, Alfred Scriven came off the bench to register an assist for his club FK Bryne in their 2-0 win over Kristiansund in a top-flight league match.
Sanel Bojadzic opened the scoring in the 79th minute before Scriven set up Magnus Grodem for the second in the 86th minute.
Bryne sit 13th on the table with 24 points from 23 rounds of matches.
In Spain, forward Job Ochieng once again came off the bench, replacing a teammate in the 76th minute for Real Sociedad B in their 1-1 draw with Córdoba.
Sergio Guardiola’s own goal put Sociedad ahead in the 32nd minute before Dallison Almeida levelled for Córdoba in the 76th.
