The win over Brighton came thanks to two unlikely scorers

Mauricio Pochettino may still have many things to get functional at Chelsea, but at least he's finally getting goalscoring output from his players - and many of them. The win against Brighton has given the Blues the confidence they need as they prepare to face Manchester United because of new names on the score sheet.

Midfielder Enzo Fernandez and defender Levi Colwill's goals were crucial to claim the three points. Pochettino conveyed his satisfaction with the fact that different players could get their names on the scoresheet.

"It's always important that different players can score. For Enzo, it was his first and second goal in the Premier League. We always talk about confidence, and building that confidence is crucial. Players always need six months or one season to start to show their real quality. Why is it going to be different at Chelsea? I'm so happy that different players could score goals to help the team."

Chelsea have been relying on Nicolas Jackson, Raheem Sterling and Cole Palmer for goals in the current campaign. The club's top scorer in the Premier League is Jackson, having scored six goals so far. Sterling and Palmer are second and third, respectively, with five and four goals. Before the Brighton game, if Chelsea fans were told that none of these players would score, they would have expected a loss. However, Fernandez and Colwill were able to step up and help the Blues secure a much-needed win.

Although Colwill is a defender and not expected to score many goals this season, Fernandez is a quality midfield player, and it would be great to see him contribute more to the team's attack.
