The Gunners have already signed Gabriel Jesus from Pep Guardiola's side
This could be one of the most intriguing transfer windows in terms of Arsenal activities and the efforts of Mikel Arteta and Edu to build the most-balanced possible side.
According to The Athletic, the Gunners are interested in Manchester City defender Oleksandr Zinchenko and are expected to bid for the player formally.
Zinchenko to Arsenal just makes so much sense. The perfect inverted fullback for Arteta. Versatile and proven in the league. Knows how to win and still just 25.

It is thought City would be open to doing business on Zinchenko if their valuation is met. The 25-year-old can cover a variety of positions, including left-back and central midfield.
Arsenal have been in the market for a left-sided defender and were trying to sign Manchester United bound Lisandro Martinez from Ajax.
City, meanwhile, want to bring in a left-back and remain interested in Brighton's Marc Cucurella.
