Otieno is in his final months of his three-year long contract with Sharks

Kariobangi Sharks winger Patrick Otieno could be on the move as three top flight clubs are jostling to acquire his signature in the ongoing mid-season transfer window.

Nairobi City Stars, Bandari and Posta Rangers are understood to be hot on the heels of the player who is in his final months of his three-year contract he signed with the former Cup holders in 2019.

Otieno has rediscovered his form this season after spending the better part of the past campaign on the treatment table where he went under the knife after tearing his meniscus while in action against Ulinzi Stars.

Sources close to the player who has four goals to his name this season revealed that City Stars were on the forefront to sign the lanky player whose deal with Sharks is set to expire in June.

Otieno has missed Sharks last three matches against AFC Leopards and twice against Sofapaka fueling speculations that he could be working on his move to a new home.

Sharks who watched their longest serving player Eric Juma leave as a free agent and join the Kenya Police camp in the meantime are understood to have offered Otieno another deal.

The club is also set to lose Geoffrey Shiveka who is said to be heading to Posta Rangers. The long serving central defender was initially set to join Kenya Police but Rangers are understood to have beaten the law enforcers to his signature.

Should the former Nzoia Sugar man leave, his exit will certainly be a blow to coach William Muluya's plan to wrestle the league title from the hands of Tusker.
