Fans sometimes tend to take things too far when it comes to the fate of their sporting heroes
Rebekah Vardy has sparked a wave of speculation online about her husband Jamie Vardy’s next destination with a cheeky Instagram post that has fans buzzing.
The Leicester City icon officially wrapped up his 13-year stay with the Foxes earlier this summer, leaving as a free agent. But with the new season just around the corner — and no club yet confirmed — questions continue to swirl about where the 38-year-old striker will land next.

That speculation exploded on Tuesday after Rebekah shared a photo of three of their children dressed head-to-toe in Inter Miami kits, complete with a playful "smiling face with sunglasses" emoji.
Naturally, social media lit up, with many assuming the post hinted at Jamie Vardy’s impending move to the MLS side — potentially linking up with global superstar Lionel Messi and his ex-Barcelona teammates Luis Suarez, Sergio Busquets, and Jordi Alba, not to mention Argentina's Rodrigo De Paul.
But while the theory quickly gained traction, a source close to the Florida-based club quickly dismissed it, telling Daily Mail there's "absolutely no way" Vardy is heading to Inter Miami.
"No one at Inter Miami will have heard of him, they just signed Rodrigo de Paul who won the World Cup with Argentina," the source added. "It was nice of them to buy the kits though."
As the guessing game continues, Vardy seems to be making the most of his time off. Just last month, he and Rebekah were spotted vacationing in Portugal, joined by his former teammates Harry Maguire and James Maddison.
His next move remains uncertain — but if Rebekah’s post was just a bit of mischief, it certainly did its job.
