Warholm's last documented men's 100m was in 2017, where he timed 10.49 seconds. That's around Duplantis' personal best time. The pole vaulter posted 10.57 in his final year at a high school in the USA, where he grew up, in 2018.
Duplantis has previously expressed a desire to compete in sprint relays for Sweden in addition to pole vaulting.
"I would have loved to do that. And I would love to be part of breaking the Swedish record."
