Former Kenya Sevens poster boy Alvin ‘Buffa’ Otieno has officially tied the knot with his Canadian fiancée, Killion.
The union marked the start of a new chapter in his life away from the rugby field.

The couple exchanged vows in a private ceremony attended by a close circle of their friends in Canada.
From the photos shared by Buffa on Instagram, the day was filled with tenderness.
Vows were exchanged, certificates signed, kisses shared, and laughter lingered as the newlyweds drove away together.

Killion has since embraced her new identity as a wife, proudly adopting her husband’s surname on Instagram, where she now goes by mrs.otieno.killion.
Though she keeps a low profile online, her love for nature shines through her posts, reflecting a calm and grounded spirit.
Her cool and collected self is now stepping gently into the spotlight alongside one of Kenya’s rugby greats.

The pair’s journey together began in 2022, the year Buffa left Kenya to explore new opportunities in Canada.
That move also marked a turning point in his rugby career, as he stepped away from the national team setup in a decision that surprised many.
What may have seemed like a professional shift at the time has now blossomed into a personal milestone: finding love and building a life with someone special.

Buffa’s legacy on the pitch remains undisputed. He made his Shujaa debut during the 2016 Hong Kong Sevens and went on to become one of the most consistent and feared players on the HSBC SVNS circuit.
Known for his physical style and try-scoring ability, he passed the 50-try mark during the 2023 Singapore Sevens, scoring against Spain in a match that saw Kenya scoop seven points and ultimately finish with ten points from the tournament.
He has made over 65 appearances for the national team and was named the LG/SJAK Sports Personality of the Year in 2021.
Buffa also played club rugby for Homeboyz RFC and later KCB RFC, where he made a name for himself before heading abroad.
