Atletico Madrid's forward has scored the most goals across all five most significant European leagues
It doesn't matter how much time you spend on the pitch, or how many starting XI appearances you make - what counts is your productivity.
And Antoine Griezmann is the most productive player coming from the bench across the Big 5 European leagues.
According to Marca, the Atletico Madrid veteran, 34, is the best substitute out there, delivering almost whenever Diego Simeone launches him into action.
Numbers don't lie.

He scored six times coming on in the later stages of the games, part of a total of nine goals and one assist across all competitions. It makes him Atletico's second-top goalscorer this season, behind only Julian Alvarez with 11 goals.
Griezmann has done it despite playing just 1,018 minutes on the pitch, fewer than Alexander Sorloth (5 goals), while Alvarez has played 1,774 minutes.
Following Griezmann's winner against Valencia earlier in December, Cholo Simeone praised the Frenchman for his role and dedication.
"I'm not surprised because star players never cause problems. In the history of teams, star players, real star players, don't cause problems.
"They understand their place, they know that the years have passed, they know that they have a different place, they accept why they are in the squad and, beyond the fact that they want to play, it's normal that they want to play every game, they give their all, as Antoine Griezmann and, in this case, Koke are showing today."
A few months ago, the Frenchman extended his contract until July 2027, and in an interview with AS, he explained the decision to do so a year before the current one expired.
"I still want to play. I still have many minutes in my legs and head, I know I can still be important for the club and I want to prove it to everyone," the Little Prince told the Madrid paper.
