The Spaniard keeps proving that he is one of the biggest constants in the current Arsenal squad

Many would agree that Arsenal have the best defence in Europe. Thanks to the fantastic centre-back tandem, William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes, and high-quality full-backs, Jurrien Timber, Ben White, Riccardo Calafiori, Piero Hincapie, Cristhian Mosquera, and others, every rival has an extremely tough time trying to score against them.

However, one name is often forgotten or overshadowed by the others, although his role is critical - David Raya.

The Spaniard has been the glue holding the entire defence together and giving it an essential sturdiness, and his - and the entire Gunners' back line's - exceptional performances have earned him a Premier League Golden Glove award - his third in a row!

The season is far from over, but the honour is waiting for the 30-year-old.

Namely, Raya has kept 17 clean sheets in the current campaign, and his first follower, Gianluigi Donnarumma of Manchester City, has stayed on 13 after a 3-3 draw against Everton two days ago.

Given that the Italian has four more games to play, he can only level Arsenal goalie's record, but not surpass it, meaning that, in the "worst case scenario", the two can share the award, just like the Spaniard did last season with the Nottingham Forest keeper Matz Sels.

Either way, Raya's triumph is not in question.

This way, he'll become only the fifth custodian to win the accolade three times, but only the third to do it in consecutive seasons, alongside the former Man City keeper Joe Hart and Liverpool shot-stopper Pepe Reina.

This award will undoubtedly boost Raya's confidence ahead of his team's crucial battles in the Premier League title race, though he'd definitely trade all the clean sheets he kept for the victorious end of the season and the EPL trophy.
