
Sharks parade new arsenal ahead of league kick off

The new season is set to start this weekend with eight matches on the card
Kariobangi Sharks continue to unveil new arsenal heading to the start of the 2023-2024 Football Kenya Federation Premier League.
The latest player to be paraded by the 2018 domestic cup winners is Victor Ngume who joined the club from National Super League side Mara Sugar.
Previously, Sharks have unveiled Congolese forward Donald Ange who was signed from the 2008 Kenyan Premier League winners Mathare United.
The duo of Lennox Kimani and Bernard Jairo also joined Sharks from Mathare who, were relegated to the Super League after finishing second from bottom in the top-flight last season.
Both Kimani and Jairo had previously passed through the Sharks youth systems.
Stanley Wilson is another player who joined Sharks a coupe of weeks ago from Darajani Gogo, an outfit that plays in the Super League.
Sharks also promoted the duo of Sigmunn Maina and Panchol Ghai to the senior team after impressing in the junior one.
The two youngsters are however not new to the top flight as they debuted last season with Maina finishing the season with two league goals and one in the Mozzart Bet Cup.
Ngume featured in the second edition of the Elite Pre-season Cup played earlier this month and was on target in Sharks 2-1 win over Sofapaka in the final group stage match.
The attacker will be bidding to make his top flight bow on Saturday when they host Kenya Police at the Kasarani Annex.
The William Muluya-coached side parted ways with a handful of players upon the conclusion of the past term.
Those who left include; winger Shariff Musa and goalkeeper, John Otieno. The two have since joined Bidco United.
Tyson Otieno ditched the club for Police while Dan Guya left for Bidco. Goalkeeper Gedion Ogweno also left the outfit.
