The two draws saw their lead at the top reduced to a point as debutants Murang'a Seal beat Tusker 2-1 to draw closer to the top.

League leaders Posta Rangers have dropped points in the last two matches against Kakamega Homeboyz and KCB, putting pressure on their shoulders.

Rangers were held to a one-all draw by Homeboyz on Thursday last week at the Bukhungu Stadium and recorded a barren draw against the bankers last Sunday at the Kasarani Annex.

The two draws saw their lead at the top reduced to a point as debutants Murang'a Seal beat Tusker 2-1 to draw closer to the top.

Rangers midfielder Brian Musa weighed in on their recent form and insisted that it was normal for the team to experience a rough patch and that everything was in control.

Musa, who has been key in anchoring the Rangers midfield in the opening ten rounds of the season, said fatigue triggered by the difficult conditions they played in against Homeboyz was the main reason for their struggle.

"The last two matches have been difficult. The conditions we played in Kakamega were tough and took a toll on us in our last weekend game. Every team faces difficulties at some point in the season, and ours isn't different. We will recover," said the central midfielder.

Musa was, however, quick to rubbish a suggestion indicating that the team was under the pressure of maintaining their place at the top of the table.

"We are not under pressure at all. We have more than twenty rounds to be played, and therefore, I don't see a reason for us to be under pressure," he gave his assessment.

With Rangers set to play the limping AFC Leopards this weekend, where they will be without their skipper Ken Owino, Musa urged his teammates to show character and get back to winning ways.

Rangers will have to do without the influential centre back after he was sent off in their draw against KCB for a second bookable offence.

"We have to show character in our next game. A lot is expected from us, especially the senior players. We are anticipating a tough game, but I am sure we will get maximum points," added the former Wazito midfielder.
