The FKF Premier League Matchday 18 continues today, Sunday 25 January, with three fixtures scheduled across different venues.
AFC Leopards will host Sofapaka, Murang’a Seal will travel to the Ulinzi Sports Complex to face Ulinzi Stars, while KCB FC welcome Tusker FC.
Heading into today’s matches, Gor Mahia sit top of the league standings on 36 points after grinding out a late 2–1 victory over Bidco United. K’Ogalo hold a three-point lead over their closest challengers as the title race begins to take shape.
At the opposite end of the table, Sofapaka and APS Bomet remain in the relegation zone, while Kariobangi Sharks were held to a goalless draw by Bandari in their Saturday encounter.
AFC Leopards vs Sofapaka
AFC Leopards will be under pressure to maintain their winning momentum when they host Sofapaka at the Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani, from 4:00 pm.
Ingwe head into the clash in fine form, having won their last three matches, including a dramatic 2–1 stoppage-time comeback victory over APS Bomet in their previous outing.
The Fred Ambani-coached side will be aiming to make it four consecutive wins and keep pace with league leaders Gor Mahia, who have opened a three-point gap at the summit.
Leopards have openly declared their intention to challenge for the league title and will be eager to underline that ambition on the pitch once again.
They face a Sofapaka side enduring a difficult run, having gone nine matches without a win, recording three draws and six defeats in that period.
Batoto Ba Mungu will be keen to return to winning ways and will look to the experience of mid-season signings and former AFC Leopards captains Clifton Miheso and Duncan Otieno for inspiration.
KCB FC vs Tusker FC

KCB FC will host Tusker FC at the Kasarani Annex from 3:00 pm in a clash between two corporate-backed sides.
The Bankers are sixth on the table with 25 points, one more than Tusker, who sit 10th in the 18-team league.
Both sides have struggled for consistency, each managing just two wins from their last five matches. However, KCB will draw confidence from a recent victory, while Tusker head into the fixture on the back of two consecutive defeats.
In the first leg, a Boniface Omondi brace proved decisive as KCB edged past Tusker.
Ulinzi Stars vs Murang’a Seal

At the Ulinzi Sports Complex in Lang’ata, Ulinzi Stars will take on Murang’a Seal from 3:00 pm.
Ulinzi have found form hard to come by, managing just one win in their last seven matches, a run that has left them 14th on the table. In contrast, Murang’a Seal have been impressive, suffering only one defeat in their last 11 matches and winning four of their previous five games.
When the two sides met in the first leg, a 90th-minute strike from Paul Okoth secured all three points for Ulinzi.
